Product Review

Overall 2011 select AFL Infinity is a winner for me. It is the range of high end numbered inserts that save this release. The common card design features player shots jumping out of the background design. The All Australian cards in the common set is a good inclusion and makes for some interest in those packs you do not hit an insert. Packets also exist that are exclusively All Australian cards making them seem like a hot pack of specials. I think the lack of a parallel one per pack is a nice change but some may view this as a let down.
Insert cards all came out of packets at the front or at the back which I do not like. The mystery of searching through a packet to find the insert card hidden is lost. This may have been a method used by select in packaging to insure a reduction in damaged cards. All reports seem that the level of damaged cards is reduced in this release.
