2017 Select AFL Footy Stars
Product Review

This is the second season of the Footy Stars series 1 concept for select and they have managed to jazz up the set with some great new designs. The set also includes an increased number of limited edition numbered cards for the more hardened collector. We are not a massive fan of the common card design but the holofoil parallel being a much different design to the common players card make for a nice variance for collectors.
Select have brought back the concept of the footy standups cards in this release with two versions ( a common and a limited edition platinum standups version). These cards add a bit of fun and value to the release. The release includes the continuation of the milestone game cards and a follow on set of starburst caricature cards as per last years 2016 footy stars. They have also repeated the two versions with a purple starburst caricature set only available in starter packs.
A new edition to this release is the A-Graders insert set found 4 per box and featuring 4 high profile players from each team. We love the retro design of this insert set.
Another select seasonal favourite the best & fairest insert set one per team is available, but only found when purchasing the official release Album ( one card per album ).
Returning as per last years footy stars release is the brownlow predictor set adding value and interest for the more hardened trading card collector.
The 300 Game case cards return for another season with three different versions available in series 1 .
