Between 2006 and 2010 Smith's chips started a craze for collecting tazo's from chip packets. The 2006 set is iconic with the hot shots series featuring 3 variations of each player tazo with one being a 3d lenticular Tazo. This set also features a error version of the silver Tazo with the AFL logo printed upside down in the background of the Tazo. Smith's went on to produce Tazo sets for 2007 through 2010 in a variety of designs with the footy kickers series of 2009 being the most unique in the shape of a sherrin.
In 2013 Sunblest bakery revived the Tazo concept with Sunblest Superstars being found in bread products. |
