The Gameday Fan loves this release from the early 90's stacked with insert sets although basic in design fun to collect. Series 1 features a 240 card common set and 9 different insert sets to collect. For us the highlight is the Career Achievement 6 card foil insert set. This set created in 6 different colour variations features an awesome list of players. The most common insert at 1 in 2 packets the NBA All Stars is also a winner. It features a basketball like background texture with the player image standing out from the background. This 26 card set features a who's who of the era. The provisions set found 1 in 5 packets is also a heap of fun. The cards are a great design with Anfernee Hardaway card being a highlight.
Series 2 features the rookie cards for the season in a 150 card common set. Some of the great rookies of the season being Grant Hill, Jason Kidd, ​Jalen Rose, Glenn Robinson and Juwan Howard. These rookies also feature in a well designed First Year Phenoms insert set. Another highlight of the series 2 set is the Superstars foil 6 card insert set. 
This release features some massive names in the history of NBA Basketball which allows for many great hits. Players like Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, Shaquille Oneal, Patrick Ewing and Dominique Wilkins feature in many of the insert sets. The only name of the era who just missed this release was Michael Jordan.
